A goalless life

Some of them may shudder at its very mention
Some others may cringe but apathetically agree
Some may blatantly follow it, without any thought given
And, then few will seek this very blissful heaven

They say a life has to have goals,
Oh! Yeah, did you have one when you entered it?
Did you have one when you breathed in it?
Did you have one when you cursed in it?
And, now you need to have one, because you want to belong in it?

Shame on you, you blatant wannabe…
You ignorant prick of the crappiest order
You twist and turn words as it may suit you
You rely on manipulation more than yourself

Your corporate demeanor is all but a farce…
Dropped at the first sign of threat,
Your innuendos are bigoted ideas
Slouching from beyond your graves
You kick-start the day with a curse in your heart…
And expect the day to all but be scarred
Every time you stoop low to disgust
But still believe in the emotion called trust!

I pity you and your little goals
Which you think you stole from nature’s soul
Your ignorant life is nothing but a rant…
With insipid moments filled with disgusting wants.

The goal you set has set one for you…
Before you meet her, the prison will free few
And once you have reached her…
She will turn you back to stare…

Into the anvils of nothing-dom.
