KARMA

On forlorn shores I stood staring
Remembering the memories of bygone days
The bewildering gaze,
The triumphant ways…

Where have they escaped to?
I wonder, sometimes…
In fact, a lot of times!
These years have rolled on seamlessly

Times you looked at the sky, times you stared at the fruits
Times when every little leaf was a delight for your eyes
Picking up unimportant strands of strangest things from the road,
A reason to walk with a song on toward!

Now the stranger lurks beneath the garb
Watchful of every…His and hisses
Looking at life with distaste
He casts a shadow along the pathway of waste.

The bewilderment is still at large
It paints a picture loud, but stark
With arrows that pierce the heart
The simple humming of a sky Lark

Notwithstanding these are shadow talks
Little they add to enjoy the walks…
And, somewhere a voice still balks
Of stares filled with raging mocks

Coiled up in the cocooned shell
A crab falls and then gets up well
His only continuous moves
Are to be ahead of his grooves

With claws intact, it swirled the pave
A thin crust of bread it craved
Alas, the bread was stolen straight
By the mighty Eagle out to slay

The Eagle missed the crab by choice
It sought for something in turquoise
The bread crumb was covered in it
The residues of Potassium Permaganit

It gobbled it in one single gulp
Straight through its piped pulp
The potent mix took its turn
The Eagle had the pain borne

Dropped dead from far above
Straight to the crab’s love
He thought the treat will be good
Every nibble will be best understood

And nature played its game quite well
That shouldn't surprise, nature’s known to swell
With mighty leaps and subtle moves
Time travels in caressed grooves

Karma – She’s a double edged sword
Never will she let anyone be forgot
Her reach reaches in to realms unknown
The cosmos churns from her ethereal curls.

A goalless life

Some of them may shudder at its very mention
Some others may cringe but apathetically agree
Some may blatantly follow it, without any thought given
And, then few will seek this very blissful heaven

They say a life has to have goals,
Oh! Yeah, did you have one when you entered it?
Did you have one when you breathed in it?
Did you have one when you cursed in it?
And, now you need to have one, because you want to belong in it?

Shame on you, you blatant wannabe…
You ignorant prick of the crappiest order
You twist and turn words as it may suit you
You rely on manipulation more than yourself

Your corporate demeanor is all but a farce…
Dropped at the first sign of threat,
Your innuendos are bigoted ideas
Slouching from beyond your graves
You kick-start the day with a curse in your heart…
And expect the day to all but be scarred
Every time you stoop low to disgust
But still believe in the emotion called trust!

I pity you and your little goals
Which you think you stole from nature’s soul
Your ignorant life is nothing but a rant…
With insipid moments filled with disgusting wants.

The goal you set has set one for you…
Before you meet her, the prison will free few
And once you have reached her…
She will turn you back to stare…

Into the anvils of nothing-dom.
